10 (+1) best transfers in Ekstraklasa

Short rank as I had nothing to do at airport, during the night and was planning that post for few weeks now. Ten best transfers made in Ekstraklasa during this summer as we have 10 rounds behind us and it’s much easier to judge on some players. One special mention from 1st  League – You’ll see what I mean by that.

Tomasz Kupisz (Wigan Athletic -> Jagiellonia Białystok). He can dribble, he can cross, he can pass, he thinks, he shoots… Although he is young and still has issues with stabilizing his form, Michał Probierz can be proud that he persuaded a move to such mature player (as for oour league). It’s only matter of time when he will be called up by Franciszek Smuda. One of those that may shine during EURO 2012, seriously.

Saidi Ntibazonkiza (NEC Nijmegen -> Cracovia). Alright, we are talking about last team in the table but this clever, little winger is a bit of revelation in Ekstraklasa. Must improve his finishing but in terms of dribbling skills and pace he is above his rivals and is the reason that many defenders still have nightmares about his tricks. If Cracovia goes down, he will get great move inside our League.

Marciano Bruma (Willem II Tilburg -> Arka Gdynia). It is much easier to step out as a defender in a team that only tactic is to park the bus and count on some luck up front. But older brother of Chelsea’s Jeffrey Bruma is really good defender. As a full back he impressed me with his no-nonsense style, brave when going forward and reading the game very well. I like that kind of players and most certainly he deserves his place on this list.

Waldemar Sobota (MKS Kluczbork -> Śląsk Wrocław). Another little, clever winger. He really can dribble his opponents to death but also too naïve on several occasions and should be more of a team-player if he wants to get any further than his current club. I’m sure that he has the right ability to do so.

Ivica Vrdoljak (Dinamo Zagreb -> Legia Warszawa). I know that when You buy a player for million Euro, You expect from him to lead the team, be example and step up to the role every game. But not only this central midfielder makes the list – he became an inspiration for Legia, much needed one in early stages of this season. Quickly became one of the best players in Ekstraklasa.

Marcus ‘Vinicius’ Da Silva (Orkan Rumia –> GKS Bełchatów). So the story is that in winter he had trials in Śląsk Wrocław which he failed, although coaches said that he have some quality but is not ready to step up to the expected level. Six months later and his doing the tricks against Lech Poznań for Bełchatów and nobody doubts that he may not be ready. Coach Maciej Bartoszek says that he got a complete player from lower leagues and should be an example of positive scouting. I share his opinion but also point out on Śląsk Wrocław who lost great player.

Daniel Sikorski (FC Bayern II Munich -> Górnik Zabrze). He is not a first team player (yet) but I love his style. The kind of player that wears his heart on the sleeve, very hard-working type, never gives up. They try to broke him (literally) but couldn’t as he continued with even bigger will to help his team. Soon(ish) will be regarded as one of top strikers in the country.

Razack Traore (Rosenbord -> Lechia Gdańsk). He said that last years in Norway were like hell to him and almost word ‘slavery’ popped out of his mouth while describing that time. Now he is rebuild and ready to show why he was once regarded as one of top 50 talents in the world. Still needs some time to find stability but his technique and dribble and finishing… what a striker Lecha currently has.

Deleu (CA Metropolitano -> Lechia Gdańsk). The best right back in the league? Probably. Very dangerous up-front, can run all day and never gives up. Great technique that many of Polish wingers should be envy of. One of favorites now in Gdańsk.

Artjoms Rudnevs (ZTE -> Lech Poznań). When he is in form, nothing can stop him. Look at Juventus. Pure diamond in Lech’s tally and You should wonder how others (wealthier clubs) struggled to get him out of Hungary. But thank heavens that he plays for Polish side, that’s how much we all enjoyed his class for Lech.

SPECIAL MENTION goes to… Jakub Kosecki (Legia Warszawa -> ŁKS Łódź). I saw him twice in 1st League and although he is on loan from Legia, we should follow that youngster all the way cause Any soon, he will be one of our best players. The Future. The Magnificent. I’m sure about him.
