Unfortunately I had no time to make it earlier so two games already been played (Wisła drew with Korona 2-2, and Lechia won with Cracovia 1-0). Not to leave You without a thing about this round of games, here a short post about games that should be great.
Górnik Zabrze - GKS Bełchatów (Saturday, 14:45)
Why this one should be interesting? Well, after getting back to Ekstraklasa, Górnik made good start and already won three times, impressing at times. With GKS Bełchatów having even better five games it is surprisingly a game between two sides from top of the table. Górnik must prove that Gierczak injury will not hit them and that they have depth in their squad, while guests will be pleased to show again that everybody that predicted their relegation were simply wrong.
Zagłębie Lubin - Legia Warszawa (Saturday, 18:15)
They had better weeks in Polish capital... Three main players send to the reserves, another five fined for their (lack of) form, overweight and discipline on the pitch. Maciej Skorża had to do something following their two straight defeats with the team lacking any effort, form and so on. The situation was nervous but not about Skorża's job as he is safe until the end of round. What happens next, only heavens know. So, maybe Zagłębie was much more of a happy team? Not really - points are needed desperately and there are voices of unhappiness inside the squad. That's why they had a meeting with the board this week... Twenty-two unhappy players on the pitch, lacking form - what could possibly be entertaining in that? Believe me, both teams will be looking for a win.
Arka Gdynia - Jagiellonia Białystok (Sunday, 17:00)
The league leaders will play on artificial pitch this week against surprisingly tough opposition used to it and trying to make it an advantage. Michał Probierz is now Polish main star this moment in football and to stay on the top must win this game. They are no easy that ones in Gdynia, every opposition struggles at some point during games on that pitch, even though they train on similar during the week. Interesting game in terms of tactics as well, as both managers seem to be minded on that area and winning the games playing their ways.
Other games: Polonia Bytom - Ruch Chorzów, Widzew Łódź - Śląsk Wrocław with Lech Poznań - Polonia Warszawa to be played in a month of time because of Sting concert. Yes, really.
